Hello and welcome!
I’m Fahadhi, a Ugandan dance and music performer driven by a passion for using the transformative power of art to inspire and connect people across the globe.
Through breakdance and theater, I aim to engage both young people and adults, equipping them with leadership skills to create positive change and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
As a featured artist in the film Shake The Dust!, a film documentary that tells stories of breakdancers around the world, produced by Mr. Nasir Jones and directed by Adam Sjöberg, I had the incredible opportunity to highlight how dance can break barriers and inspire transformation.
My journey as Dance Movement Practitioner has further deepened my understanding of movement as a healing tool, while my certification in Somatic Life Cycle has enhanced my leadership abilities, enabling me to bring greater purpose and depth to my work.
Breakdance is more than just a dance form—it’s my way of expressing emotions, building connections, and empowering communities. From my early days in Kampala to competing on international stages and working with youth worldwide, breakdance has been at the heart of my journey. It’s a tool for growth, discipline, and social change. Whether teaching, performing, or judging, I’m passionate about sharing its transformative power.
My journey in theatre is driven by a deep passion for storytelling and connection. From my work at the National Theatre in Kampala to co-founding the Vizuri Dance Crew, I have embraced theatre as a powerful way to express emotions, share experiences, and inspire change. Each performance is an opportunity to explore themes that resonate deeply with society while celebrating the transformative magic of the stage. Theatre, for me, is more than an art—it's a way of life.
I am a Dance Movement Practitioner passionate about the healing and transformative power of movement. Through dance, I help individuals and groups foster self-expression, enhance physical and emotional well-being, and build connection. Since 2014, my journey with Golden Bridge has deepened my understanding of how movement unites body, mind, and soul. In 2022, I became a certified SomaSource Life Cycle Practitioner, further strengthening my ability to guide others toward healing and self-discovery. Now, I’m excited to bring this practice to Kampala and create spaces where movement inspires growth and transformation.
Breakdance is my first love—a passion that has been with me since I first started dancing at the age of 13 in Nsambya, in the heart of Kampala. From the moment I discovered it, breakdance became so much more than a sport; it’s my way of expressing emotions, building community, and staying grounded.
My journey with breakdance truly began when I joined Breakdance Project Uganda, a space that continues to inspire me today. Every session I attend fills me with an energy that’s hard to describe—an incredible sense of connection and purpose. Through Breakdance Project Uganda, I discovered the transformative power of dance, hip-hop, and art as tools for empowerment and positive social change.
It’s also where I honed my technical skills, combining them with my passion to achieve milestones like being crowned East Africa Champion in 2014 and 2017, and representing Uganda in the B-Boy Freestyle Session in San Diego in 2014, organized by the Urban Dance & Educational Foundatio; 2017 Dance Championship Cypher in Berlin and Breakthrough Festival in Zurich in 2021.
Today, I continue to share my love for breakdance through private classes, school programs, workshops, and social events. I tailor each class to meet the needs of my students, ensuring it fits their skill level and context. In 2022, I proudly joined the Ugandan National Breakdance Team and competed in the 2023 Olympic Africa Qualifiers in Morocco—a remarkable experience that pushed me to grow even further.
Over the years, I’ve also taken on the role of a judge in battles, drawing from my extensive experience and the energy I thrive on during competitions.
But breakdance, for me, has always been about more than personal achievements—it’s about community. Dance has allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life, express myself, and contribute to social change.
From engaging with youth in Kampala to exchanging stories and dances with young people recovering from addiction in Italy through the We Free program—an initiative by the Italian Ministry of Education in partnership with the San Patrignano community—breakdance has been a gateway to powerful experiences.
It led to participating in Project Ponte in Berlin, working alongside refugees and asylum seekers, and collaborating with Play Ground Initiative Marzahn eV to help children and young people connect with nature sustainably. It also meant bringing movement and creativity to public spaces in Munich through CultureClouds, a dance project open to all. Each step, each spin, has been an opportunity to inspire, connect, and make a difference.
It’s my way of giving back, inspiring others, and showing how art can bridge divides and create opportunities for growth and connection.

Let’s make it happen! 💥
My journey into theatre began as a teenager, frequenting the National Theatre in Kampala—a vibrant meeting point for Ugandan artists across disciplines. It was here that I found the courage to step beyond the breakdance scene, embracing the transformative power of theatre as a new and dynamic form of expression.
The National Theatre was not only a space of inspiration but also the launchpad for the incredible journey of Vizuri Dance Crew, a professional dance group I co-founded in 2011. Based in Kampala, our mission has always been to advance hip-hop in Uganda while fostering cross-cultural connections through dance. Together, we collaborated on numerous pieces, working alongside artists from diverse fields—fashion, music, video, and photography—constantly enriching our craft and pushing creative boundaries.
One milestone in this journey was our 2018 theatre performance TOSINDIKA - Don’t Push Me. This piece perfectly encapsulates our approach: using dance and music to tell stories that resonate deeply with Ugandan society. Through a blend of styles and interactive staging, we delivered a performance that engaged audiences and sparked dialogue.
Before TOSINDIKA, in 2017, I honed my theatre skills through international exchange programs like Think Twice, a theatre production addressing refugee experiences in collaboration with European artists. Organized by the Cultural Department of Munich at Villa Walberta, this program was a pivotal moment in my growth as a performer.
In 2021, I explored another critical theme in IDENTITY, a theatre piece funded by the British Council in Uganda and produced by Batalo East. This project allowed me and my team to delve into personal and societal narratives, bringing them to life on stage through dance.
Theatre, to me, is magic—a space where stories are told, emotions are shared, and messages are amplified. Every time I travel, I make it a point to visit theatres and attend performances, as they continually reignite my passion for this powerful art form. Theatre is more than an artistic pursuit; it’s a transformative journey that I am proud to call my own.

My path as a Dance Movement Practitioner began in 2014 when I first attended a dance-based transformational journey rooted in the arts of body, heart, and soul with Melissa Micheals and Friends called Surfing The Creative organized by Golden Bridge.
That experience marked the beginning of an incredible journey, where I became part of a global community of leaders who inspire and create lasting change through dance. Since then, I have grown both personally and professionally, summer after summer, and learning under the guidance of the Melissa Michaels, alongside youth from around the world.
Through this journey, I discovered the profound impact dance can have on the body, mind, and soul.
A Dance Movement Practitioner uses dance and movement to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being. My work fosters self-expression, enhances physical function, supports emotional regulation, and promotes social connection, working with diverse populations in settings like healthcare, education, and community centers. I guide individuals and groups, including those facing physical or mental health challenges, on a journey of healing and transformation.
Each year, my curiosity deepened, and in 2022, I took a significant step forward by obtaining a certification as a Somasource Life Cycle Practitioner. Somasource is a transformative, movement-based process developed by Dr. Melissa Michaels, which integrates body, heart, and mind to guide individuals and communities through a journey of healing, self-awareness, and spiritual awakening.
Since then, I have continued to immerse myself in the world of dance movement , taking online courses and exploring ways to bring this healing practice to Kampala.
I’m filled with ideas, but I recognize the importance of deepening my skills further before embarking on this extraordinary adventure.
There is much to come, and I am excited to share this journey with you.
Stay tuned—big things are coming!
